Chantelle Cutler
ACA accredited level 3 - Bachelor of Psychological Science, Diploma of Counselling, Trained Clinical Supervisor, Trauma informed.
Chantelle provides specialist treatment for a range of life's difficulties including but not limited to: mental illness, disability and trauma.
Chantelle has a vast array of experience, working with children and young people. Chantelle started her professional journey as a Youth worker in 2015, quickly moving to coordinator of a Youth Program designed for vulnerable children and young people in Wendouree, Ballarat. Also at this time Chantelle worked in residential care, providing direct support to a range of vulnerable young people across Ballarat.
Chantelle then accepted a role providing Intensive Case Management and Therapy to children and young people at risk or experiencing homelessness and/or domestic violence.
And finally before founding Overcome Therapeutic services Chantelle worked for a private behavioral management and family counselling practice, working with young people and their families, experiencing disability related distress and dysfunction.
Chantelle has a passion for seeing young people and their families not just learn to manage their difficulties but to overcome them. Chantelle believes that with the right level of support, education and encouragement, anyone can be an overcomer.
Rebecca Rasmussen
ACA accredited - Diploma of Christian Counselling AIFC, Trauma informed.
Rebecca brings a wealth of experience to Overcome Therapeutic Services, drawing from her 8 year tenure at Ballarat Christian College, where she initially supported students in Education, before transitioning to a pivotal role in student wellbeing. In 2021 Rebecca enhanced her qualifications with a Diploma of Christian Counselling from AIFC. Rebecca currently serves as a student counsellor at Mt Rowan Secondary College.
Rebecca's ability to connect deeply with individuals of all ages and backgrounds stems from her upbringing in a large family involved in fostering, as an adoptee from Haiti. Additionally, her background in the music industry has provided her with a global perspective, having toured and experienced diverse cultures worldwide as a musician.
Rebecca's approach places the unique needs of each child at the forefront. With compassion and unwavering dedication, she supports young people in overcoming challenges such as anxiety, depression, addiction, grief and more. Parents value her strong advocacy and commitment to guiding their children towards emotional wellbeing.
We support young people aged 3 to 30 years of age, who are struggling with mental illness, disability or everyday difficulties, with tailored interventions to help them learn to overcome, our aim is to support young people to lead a life full of joy, peace and purpose.
We support parents/carers with education, support and guidance, in order to help them support their child, who is struggling with mental illness, disability, trauma or everyday difficulties.
